Export/import

I’m trying to do an import for the products after a price edit.

I first export from products.
Choice is a simple product.
I open in Numbers (table data with separator value is comma, in advanced settings the text encoding is Unicode (UTF-8))
Edit the price. Export to CSV file.

In WP I go to products and import. That’s where I look for my file. What always remains the same is that I check that I want to update products.
In advanced settings I have done several options here.

I tried semicolon on separator.
Using previous column layout preferences? I have tried both: off and checked.

I can’t get past column 1 the ID, the other columns are not recognized. What am I doing wrong?

Numbers version 12.1
WP version 5.9.5

I didn’t quite get this process on my test site. Could you please provide further details on what you are referring to here?

I can’t get past column 1 the ID, the other columns are not recognized. What am I doing wrong?

Can you please share with us a copy of the CSV file you are using with sample data in it so that we could check this further?

Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly, can you please share your System Status Report, that will help us further troubleshoot.

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

Hello,

If I understand correctly, the CSV file is not recognized.

Can you please try again, but this time use another spreadsheet editor, for example, Google sheets, or LibreOffice, the fact is, that MS Excel tends to change some numbers into scientific notation, that does not happen all the times, but that could happen.

It was Numbers that wasn’t handling the export well. With LibreOffice the import is working.
