    I’m updating my site with a new look, and using a staging site for development. I plan to use the All in One WP Migration plugin to replace the existing site with the new theme and content. I plan to export my subscription list from the old site to make sure I don’t lose subscribers. I’d also like to export newsletters.

    Two questions:
    When I import the subscriber list to the new site, will Email Subscribers & Newsletters automatically manage duplicates?

    Is there a way to export newsletters?

    Thanks so much!

    @kjt53,

    The migration plugin that you are referring to will directly migrate your staging database to live site.
    So why are you exporting subscribers and newsletters separately?

    Thanks for responding, Mansi. The live site has the most current list of newsletters and subscribers (because people are continuing to join the list as I am working in the staging site, and I’ve sent newsletters during this period as well). It looks like the migration plugin will overwrite data and settings on the live site as it migrates the clone from staging. Assuming that happens, I will lose all new email subscribers and newsletters (those added to the live site since I exported the live site to the staging site) during migration. I can easily export and reinstall the subscriber list; am hoping for a way to to the same with newsletters.

    @kjt53,

    You would need to manually move all your newsletters from staging site to your live site.
