    Hi,

When I export the chosen product columns through CSV, the format of the cost column is wrong. It looks now like: Bunny Nature My Little Sweetheart snoepjes Bosvruchten,”2,49″,1.02 and it should be: Bunny Nature My Little Sweetheart snoepjes Bosvruchten,”2,49″,”1,02″ Am I doing something wrong in the setup because the input in the background is good?

    Greetings,

    Ruud

    Hello @ruba1956,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I am sorry, but I was unable to understand the issue. Could you please elaborate on this, and would it be possible to provide us with screenshots of the CSV file? Also, please let us know which plugin you are using to export the cost.

    Kind regards,
    Moshtafizur

    Hi @ruba1956,

    Thanks for sending the screenshots.

It seems to be a formatting issue in Excel. I think you would need to auto-fit the column width. To do so, in the Excel, select all columns on the sheet then go to the Home tab > Cells group, and click Format > AutoFit Column Width. You can read more about AutoFit in Excel here.

If you have any questions, then please let us know.

    Kind regards,
    Moshtafizur

    Hello @moshtafizur01

I don’t agree with you. As you can see I send you a screenshot with imported CSV file in Notepad++

As you can see the amounts in column “reguliere prijs” are placed between brackets “2,49” and the amount that coming from cost of goods isn’t between brackets –> cost 1.02 <– both, and all other amounts should be between brackets and with (,) instead of (.)

So please can you adapt this in the plugin!

    Regard,

    Ruud.

    Hi @ruba1956 ,

I just released a new version (2.8.5) with a new option I created for you.

Plese, first update the plugin and then, this is what you could try:

    • Disable Products > Cost sanitization > Product export > Convert cost to number
    • Try the next following option as None. If it doesn’t work, try setting it as Convert dots to commas .

Let me know if it helps.

    Hi @karzin

It’s working good with Convert dots to commas.

With None it’s converting just the first row.

So I think we can close this issue.

    Thanks!

    Glad to hear it!

In that case, please consider leaving a review if you are enjoying the plugin/support. It would be much appreciated 🙂
