# Export customization to child theme

 * We’ve been using the “regular” theme and changing the settings, now I want to
   create a child theme – is there a way to save all configuration (like typography,
   colors, header etc) to the child theme instead of starting all over?

 * Hello, yes, go to Theme Panel > Import/Export.
    So activate the parent theme,
   export your settings, activate your child theme and import the json file.
