[Resolved] export csv import

  • Not sure if there has been a change but the export import does not offer the same options as seen in the files

** This is the only Export option under tools. There is no csv option.
Export the Easy Digital Downloads settings for this site as a .json file. This allows you to easily import the configuration into another site.
To export shop data (purchases, customers, etc), visit the Reports page.

** The import option does not allow for variable pricing.
** The duplicate product appears to still require alot of manual entry of data.
ie we upload or clone 200 products we still have to click scroll add edit update every single item.
If the csv allowed for all of the actual EDD fields to be uploaded this would solve all the problems for folks using it for saleable items.

Can you please advise if this is supposed to function or if things have changed since original documentation was listed..
Alternatively where the item details (pricing variable etc) are stored maybe there is a quicker way to add the details.

    1. Can you show me a screenshot of your EDD Export / Import page?

    2. We are aware of the variable price limit and are working on a good way of managing it. Importing variable prices is rather tricky.

    3. I’m not sure what you mean by the “Duplicate Product”. Can you elaborate?

    Sure thanks again

Duplicate product – add on .

    1. That’s definitely not right. IS the CSV Manager plugin active?

    3. Got it. Yes you still have to publish each item. It is meant to speed up the process, not make it a single click.

Version 1.0.1 | By Daniel Espinoza | Visit plugin site When it is installed it is automatically activated –
ie: I removed and reinstalled there is no option, once uploaded it is activated with only those import export options..

Duplicate product – understand. In our instance as I would expect others likely.
We have many products but all have the same pricing structure so all a-$1 b-$2 c-$3 d-$4 etc
To duplicate we still have to go to each product, correct the product name/ detail and then publish each item.

You are using the old one that we discontinued. Use this one:http://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-digital-downloads-csv-manager/

I seem to have the same problem. I’ve downloaded 1.0.4 and Activated it, but when I go to the Tools and Import/Export EDD all I see is the ability to import or export a json file.
    Hope you can help,

I just compared this with a working copy, and the new Import/Export options from this CSV tool are not appearing, only the default WP ones for json files. (I’ve tried De- and Re-activating but no change.)
This is running EDD 1.7.2 and CSV Manager 1.0.4 (on a WAMP WP 3.6 server) both downloaded via your site this morning.

I believe an update got pushed that wasn’t supposed to go out yet. We’ll have an update out shortly to resolve it.

I downloaded this plug-in today, and activated it and darned if I could find out the import/export options. Like previous poster Brian, all I see if the default WP ones.
Has there been an update? Am I just blind and missing something?

They are in Downloads > Tools.

Thank you! I found it! I was looking in the wrong spot! Also thank you for the quick response!
