# Export & Update Problem

 * I want (NEED) to upgrade from WP 2.03 to 2.1.3. In the past I’ve tried to use
   Fantastico to upgrade and both times, it duplicated all my posts so I had double
   of over 300 posts. I had to call my host and have them restore my blog from their
   backup. Obviously, using Fantastico is not an option for me.
 * Then I decided I would just make another WP blog and start off at 2.1.3 except
   2.0.3 has no export function.
 * So I tried to use the Technosailor export plugin that everyone recommends but
   when I tried to import the file it created, I got an error saying it was empty
   and maybe my php.ini wasn’t set to allow uploads but I checked and it is set 
   to allow uploads.
 * So…I’m completely stuck and I don’t know how on earth to get my blog updated.
 * Any help, ideas, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
