Explanation requested (display of multiple-day-span event in “upcoming”)

    Hello,
    Thank you for your excellent work on this outstanding plugin. Question:

    I notice that the “Upcoming events” calendar is intentionally coded to “only display the first day for multi day span”. In other words, when showing upcoming events (in “Columns” mode) an event that spans multiple days will show only on the first day and subsequent days do not show at all.

    I’m just wondering – what is the reasoning behind this?

    Hi @patrick_here,

    You are correct, the column display will combine all days into one entry, but the other upcoming events list styles do not. It does show the full date span in the column entry so the information is still there. I didn’t want several identical boxes in a row.
