It simply doesn't work when editing my poll! :(

It sets it back to 1 week.

The "never" option has been removed, but the plugin hasn't been updated yet, sorry.

Why was this feature removed if I may ask?

It's only effective if the person trying to cheat can't change their IP address but because the vast majority of Internet users have dynamic IPs that address can and does change so the cheater can vote again.
For the same reason other people who might share the same address and want to vote at a later date will find their votes blocked no matter how long the delay between the first and second votes.

It was felt that limiting the expiration of IP blocks to one week was enough to annoy cheaters and discourage them from cheating. If your poll goes on for more than one week a cheater can only cheat once every 7 days. Unless your population size is very small that shouldn't skew results too much. With a paid upgrade you can check the IP address of each vote too.

Thank you for the info. Makes sense I guess.
