Expired Password Reset issue

Well, I’m not sure how long this has been happening but it just came to my attention that password reset issue throws up expiry link, in fact a broken mail as well.

in fact the reset mail is sent as follows:

Someone requested that the password be reset for the following account:

http://www.mysite.net

Username: xxx

If this was a mistake, just ignore this email and nothing will happen.

To reset your password, visit the following address:

<http://www.mysite.net/wp-login.php?action=rp&key=xxx&login=xxx&gt;

*replaced the key & login ids with “xxx”, similarly site name as well

Already this mail is broken & link is broken as well, as it always throws up expiry message. I would appreciate some help to fix this asap, as its unnecessarily increasing my already demanding workload in resetting user passwords manually.
