Hi Andrew,
Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.
Here is documentation to BCC email addresses in on any membership emails – https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/bcc-additional-email-addresses-on-member-or-admin-notifications/
I hope this helps 🙂
Thanks Andrew
Im not looking to BCC Im just looking to be copied in to these emails as the admin. I looked at the link you sent me and at the start it says:
“Default Paid Memberships Pro emails are sent to the member and the admin email address defined in your WordPress site’s Settings > General”
The email in general is admin@mallorcabylandandsea.com, that is an alias of ahamaton@mallorcabylandandsea.com so all admin emails come to me and I didnt receive one email when memberships ended. Do you know why that might be ?
Kind regards
Andrew
Thank you for your feedback Andrew, my apologies for the delayed reply. We do not add in administrators into the membership expired emails, you may use the BCC code mentioned to add in your email address for the ‘membership_expired’ template.
I hope this helps.
Thanks Andrew
This is important and seems like an on¡bvious oversight but at the end of the day I am using it for free so I cant criticise. I’m really nervous doing this, Ive had a look and I see creating a plugin is the recommended method but you need a code recipe and it seems i need a pro plus account to get the code recipe. Can you send me the code recipe I need and if there is any other help / advice you can give it would be much appreciated. Thanks, Andrew
Where do i find this Andrew ?
“Download the latest copy of the pmpro-customizations.php file.”
Thanks
Andrew
Here is a link for this, I believe a free account on paidmembershipspro.com should be able to access the contents of this – https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/create-a-plugin-for-pmpro-customizations/
Alternatively, you may add this code to your theme’s functions.php file.
OK, I’ve done it and think it works so thanks. FYI I couldnt get the code recipe there you have to be a pro plus member, i had to go to github
Thanks again
Andrew
Hi andrew
Its worked as I got an expiry email this morning so that’s great ! It’s really highlighted to me though that 7 days is definitely not enough reminder time to get customers to renew. Some of them wont even read the email in seven days. I know you have an addon to send earlier remonders but I have two many plugins in my dashboard as it is so I wondered if it is feasible to add more code to this custom plugin to achieve the same end ?
Thanks
