Hi, we have Future set up so that in the “Choose which user roles can use PublishPress Future,” only admins are selected. We also have a default 30-day expiration set for all posts. This is so that all posts expire in 30 days and that cannot be altered by anyone other than an admin.

What appears to be happening is that any post created/published by an author or editor is assigned an expiration date, but appears in the Expire column in the Posts admin as “Cron event not scheduled” and does not get moved to Trash. However, if an admin user simple opens and re-saves them, they are then scheduled to expire as intended.

I am guessing that is how it’s intended to work, but also hoping there is some way to configure Future such that posts will be set to expire based on the default settings, even if the author of the post is NOT an admin. Thank you for reading this far 😉
