1) Something like that would be possible via the theme/functions template
2) Also best handled via the theme template (via CSS/JS/etc)
3) It is near, now working on testing and the website
1) I don’t know, and it shouldn’t matter because categories are handled by WP, not USP.
2) Can you give me an example of what a “template” might contain or do?
3) I hate to say because every time I do something new crops up and it ends up taking twice as long. I can tell you that the plugin is 99.9% complete and now I am testing and building a quick website to get it out there. Hopefully within a week or so, but no promises.

1) so it should work …
2) It would be nice if I can have a layout for one category (e.g. cat.1: image on top, text under the image) and another one for another category (e.g. cat.2 image on the left end text on the right) that I assign when confirming the pending post;
3) ok, you’re right but I really need it for a site I have to create asap: hope that everything will proceed as smooth as oil … 😉
1. yes test it out 🙂
2. Come on, that can all be done with just basic CSS.. just use a plugin like art directed or whatever to add custom styles as needed. Also thinking about it, there will be a way to do art-directed styles via custom fields with the Pro version.
3. Thank you, and yes me too 😉

1) I’ll do!
2) Didn’t know that plugin. Hope it can be integrated with yours.
3) Good luck!
2) It should work fine with most any plugin, but it is need of an update. USP Pro should be able to do this as well!

2) with no need of another plugin, should be fine!
