I updated my WordPress Popular Posts plugin from version 2.3.2 to 2.3.5 a week ago and am still experiencing an issue where the right sidebar displays the message “Sorry. No data so far”.
I have read the plugin’s FAQ (http://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-popular-posts/faq/) regarding this message, but all the possible reasons provided for this message don’t seem to apply to my situation. For example, my blog posts are in fact being visited and I do have the wp_head() tag in my <head> section.
Also, when I look at the settings of the plugin, it is in fact recording the number of views for each post.
I have not made any changes to my WordPress theme and 2.3.2 worked perfectly on WordPress v. 3.5.2. Any idea why I am seeing the message “Sorry. No data so far” after updating the plugin?
