Expected EOL for PHP 5.3 support

    Hi,
    I have WF running on an old server hosted by a third party and I’m having trouble getting the PHP version on the server updated. It’s currently running the last 5.3 release. Do you have any idea when WF might stop supporting PHP 5.3? Just so I know how much time I have? 🙂

    We don’t actively support 5.3 if I remember correctly though we know Wordfence works on it. I don’t have a specific date when Wordfence will no longer work on 5.3 but as we release often and constantly making improvements, it’s only a matter of time before 5.3 won’t be viable. Our system requirements page is here. Since any PHP version under 5.6 isn’t getting security patches any more we’d recommend doing this sooner rather than later. Version 7 and above have some really nice memory handling improvements that will benefit site speed as well so it makes sense to move to a newer version.
