Expanding the width on the page columns

  • Hey there all, first post and a complete non-techie , so please be gentle.

I recently had a developer friend do some coding and remove the sidebar menu from my site and extend the width of the text frame to make the sight look cleaner and less cluttered. But, on some computers now, the “frame” of the left columns stayed the same with the text extends beyond the columns frame. In other text extended fine but the frame stayed the same so now it visually overlaps.

My site link is below for a visual (but again doesnt show like this on all computers).

Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

Again, complete non-techie here so please give me the idiot version.

    thanks

you might need to use a graphics editor to edit these (or possibly more) images to fit the new width:

    images/content-top.gif
    images/content-bot.gif
    images/content-center.gif

(in the /images folder of your theme; use ftp or the file manager of your hoster to move these files http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients)
