# Expanding footer width

 * Hi Guys,
 * Im trying to expand my footer to 100%, basically the entire width of the screen.
   Its currently 100% of the main content area, but I would like to expand my footer
   background across the entire width. It can be seen here:

 * you could edit footer.php and move the last closing `</div>` from the end (the
   one before `</body>`) to before this line `<div id="footer">`

 * cheers, worked a treat although Ive now got a scroller at the bottom of my browser,
   the footer is set to 100% width. Do you have any ideas why this is? Thank you
