expand on app description text?

    Firstly, thanks for a great plugin.

    Unless I’ve completely missed it in options area, is there a way to display app description text like iTunes on the web and app store? Currently, on a post displaying the app, the length of description is based on “Max Length of Short Description” in settings. Is there a way so that the full text is hidden by default (save for first line or three), then when you click on “…More”, the rest of text expands and is revealed? (again like it is on itunes).

    I am not sure if I understand what you are asking. Do you mean you want the text to end at the end of a sentence rather than a fixed number of characters, or do you want the text displayed different graphically?

    Hi,

    If you go to Angry Birds’ iTunes web page, you should have a better idea of what I mean (on initial page load, only the first several lines of text description is visible at first, then when you click on “…More” link, the rest of the text will be expanded:

    It’d be great if this can be done as well with your plugin (again, unless I have missed something obvious in settings). This way, not all of the text description needs to be shown at first, and if user wants to read more, they can do so without leaving the post.

    I see what you are looking for. That looks like something called an Accordion. The data is all loaded on the page and it is a simple jquery call to expand it without reloading the page.

    I will look into including that in the next version.
