Hi @billrodgers
I hope you are doing good today.
Please export the form and share it in the next reply. In order to export this form, you can go to the WordPress dashboard > Forminator Pro > Forms, and next to the Edit button you’ll find the Settings wheel. Click on it, and on the menu select Export. Once the Export Form window is opened, you’ll see the Download button.
You can save the generated TXT file in Google Drive or Dropbox, and then share with us the URL so we may look into this.`
Kind Regards,
Kris
Hi,
Thank you for your help.
I’ve uploaded the form export to Google Drive but not keen on posting the link here. How do I get it to you?
Regards,
Bill

Hello there @billrodgers
I tested multiple submissions with my testing Mailchimp account and each time the Tags were updated without issues. I think I’m missing something in my replication steps though. Could you please expand a bit more on the necessary steps to replicate this? Like the exact steps that your members are making.
Thank you,
Dimitris
Hi Dimitris,
It’s a simple form so the process is straightforward and I’m not sure what I could offer to expand on the steps. Visitors fill out the form and then redirected to the thank you page.
When a visitor submits the form, they are subscribed to the newsletter and tagged. This is working with new subscribers.. New subscribers are added to the newsletter list and tagged correctly.
The problem is only occurring If someone is already subscribed to the newsletter. Many who are signing up for this event are already subscribed to the newsletter, and they are the ones not getting the new tag added.
Also these already subscribed folks have other tags because of submitting past forms for other events.
In short:
New subscribers = Works perfectly
Existing subscribers = Npt getting the new tag added.
Thank you for your help!
Bill
Hi @billrodgers,
Can you please enable WP_DEBUG and add the following defines in wp-config.php?
define('FORMINATOR_DEBUG', true);
define('FORMINATOR_ADDON_DEBUG', true);
Please find more about WP_DEBUG in this documentation here: https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG
The definitions mentioned above should log all fields sent when submitting a form in the debug.log file. Once the defines are configured, can you please replicate the issue and share the debug.log file in your next reply to check this further?
We will be looking forward to hearing back from you.
Kind Regards,
Nebu John
Hi Nebu John,
I did this yesterday but unfortunately the event is completed. There won’t be any further submissions. We’ll need to wait for a new opportunity to use Forminator or convert a form from another form plugin that is still being used.
Thank you,
Bill
Hi @billrodgers
Thank you for the update.
I pinged our QA team to run some further tests on our side and see if we can replicate.
Best Regards
Patrick Freitas
Hi @billrodgers
Just an update,
We tested on different forms and installation, unfortunately, we were not able to replicate the issue.
Please in case the issue returns let us know and we can run a deeper test.
Best Regards
Patrick Freitas
Hi Patrick,
I to have been testing with the debugger activated…and I cannot reproduce the problem that occurred.
I thank you for your help. If I get more information or track a future repeat of the problem, I’ll come back.
Regards,
Bill
