• Hi everyone,

I installed WordPress 3.0 — enabled the blog network. Then, I needed to disable the blog network at one point (I can’t remember why). Anyway, I tried to reenable the blog network and I got this error message:

“An existing WordPress network was detected.”

I thought this was due to the earlier network I had. So, I went into phpmyadmin and deleted the tables labelled wp_blogs, thinking this would solve the problem.

However, I went back to wp-admin/network and found the same error message.

Any thoughts on whether there could be other existing networks on the server, how I can find them, and what I can do? Perhaps this could be due to the code on wp_config and .htaccess still being there? I didn’t delete this code before deleting the blogs tables on phpmyadmin
