Is it possible to add an exemption for part of the code? Is about 10 characters of code….actually is just a small part of it, always found in the cache folder. The cache plugin keeps deleting and making other files with the same 10 characters.
I know for sure that that part of the code is safe. I always mark it as fixed or ignore it. But since the cache plugin is caching every 8 minutes i have several malicious files found. So…is there any way i can add an exemption for those exact characters?
    Thank you.

  • Hi @wpos

There is an option to exclude “files”from the scan that are matching with certain patterns, you can find this option at “Scan > Scan Options and Scheduling > Advanced Scan Options > Exclude files from scan that match these wildcard patterns“. So if you can observe a certain pattern for these files, you can definitely exclude them this way. Otherwise you can exclude the whole cache folder like that /wp-content/cache/* if you are sure these files are most likely safe and you aren’t in a process of cleaning your infected site.

    Thanks.
