I have a client site – CSAO.net (WP version 3.4.2) that is setup with an Executive login button.
The idea is that the executive who are very non-technical can login and upload files (meeting minutes, succession documents, PDF’s etc.)
The login would use a simple username and password, all the executive would share a username/password.
My initial thought is that a some type of dropbox system would be ideal, where the executive could login and separate their files into different folders (e.g. “October 2012” folder could include meeting minutes and any info for Oct. 2012, “Executive knowledge transfer” folder could include documents about Executive duties etc.)
It is tempting to use DropBox but the client and I have agreed that their should be a connection to the site vs. driving the executive away from the stie.
Does anyone know if there is any type of internal dropbox plugin or internal file structure type system that will act like a dropbox (even a white or private label dropbox may work, if it can be re-branded).
The exec are non-technical which is I why an easy to use solution like the DropBox model is preferable.
We have tried using the eMemeber Pluggin (http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-emember-easy-to-use-wordpress-membership-plugin-1706) but I am not sure this is the best solution as there are only two types of users at present, the general public and the executive.
Thanks in advance.
