Execute shortcode in ‘No Events’ text

Hi,

I have had this working previously – but it’s only once or twice a year the ‘No Events’ field is used, because I have so many.

I have put a shortcode ([elm_random category=”477″]) for another plugin (Randomizer) in the ‘No Events’ field and it has previously shown a random string from the category – but now it only shows the shortcode, it doesn’t render.

Is there something about how the defined content of that field would prevent a shortcode from executing?
