# Excluding image from gallery

 * Im using Gallery Shortcode and i want to exclude the first photo from the gallery(
   because its a thumb …) how can i do that ? i tryed with [gallery exclude="1"]
   but it doesnt work :(.

 * Exactly as you said, but you have to use the attachment ID of your photo.

 * You can see it in the URL when mousing over the Edit link in the Media Library.
   I am not sure if there’s a better/easier way.

 * ok tnx it works now 😀
    but i have a new problem… i have several gallerys and
   in every gallery i dont want to display the first photo. how can i do that ?
