# Excluding files from scan

 * I’ve not added any files specifically to be excluded from scan.
    But the following
   files were added automatically. Is this normal?
 * wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_wp_booster_functions.php
    
   yandex_1579fb4c4e60da7f.html wp-snapshots/index.php wp-snapshots/dtoken.php wp-
   includes/version.php wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/demos/travel/td_media_5.

   wordfence/lib/wfDirectoryIterator.php bk/wp-admin/ms-delete-site.php wp-content/

   php bk/wp-content/plugins/wpide/js/ace-1.1.1/mode-forth.js wp-content/plugins/

 * Apart from the above, many jpg files were also there. I deleted them manually.
 * Kindly confirm whether I can remove the above listed files from exclusion list.

 * If a scan fails on a particular file then that file is automatically added to
   the list in the option **_Exclude files from scan that match these wildcard patterns(
   one per line)_**.
 * This helps prevent the scan failing the next time a scan is run on that file.
   The file may not be the problem and a hosting server problem is causing scans
   to fail instead so you can clear this list and run through our troubleshooting
   guide here:
