Excluded posts still in search results

    I excluded posts and they do show up in Setting > Search Exclude, however when I search for ‘nieuwsbrief’ the excluded post are still shown. What could cause this?
    WP 5.2.2
    PHP 7.2

    Hey @tastymouse,

    Thanks for reporting the issue. This usually can happen because of a conflict with some other plugin or custom theme code.
    Please attach the list of installed plugins.
    You could try disabling them one by one to identify which one causes the trouble.

    Hi Roman,
    I took over this project and there are way to much plugins. But I’ll take your advise and disable them one for one. I’ll let you know.
