Excluded pages still showing up in Search

    Using WordPress 5.9.3 and Search Exclude 1.2.6

    The webpage we’re trying to hide from search results has the “Exclude from search results” checked, but when we use the WordPress search feature the page is still showing up for us. I noticed that the plugin page in WordPress said it was updated about a week ago, could that be the reason why?

    I tested by updating the webpage ensuring Search Exclude was checked, opening up a private browser so no cashed information would carry over, used the search feature and was able to find the page.
