If auto created albums is enabled, the Admin account is also included. So if the members are allowed to receive email notifications about New Uploads or New Albums Created, the Admin account is included.

I have found no way to disable this. Also if i change the Album to Separate, i get an error about url permalinks because TWO albums are created (one to Members as new and the old with Separate).

And all this is not always wanted. The main admin can test things, delete his album, upload for testing. The users should not receive anything related the admin album. Or at least be optional.

Please consider this for a future update, if you find it reasonable.

    Thank you

The admin can upload at the backend, these uploads do not generate emails.

    Related:
On the wp dashboard there is a widget saying (example):

    Notify me when...

[v] A new photo is uploaded
    [v] My photo is approved
[v] A comment on my photo is given
    [v] A photo needs moderation

The boxes shown correspond with the mailing types that are enabled in Table IX-M, while some are for admins only, and hence displayed to admins only.

The admin can untick the boxes for the mailings he does not want.

Maybe i didn’t describe well what i ment.

Right now if an admin album is autocreated, the rest of the users are informed (if they have selected that). Same for his uploads. Tests he does etc etc.

I’m not talking about notifications the admin gets for his matters. I’m talking about emails the USERS get related to the admin account.

From the readme in version 7.2.12, to be released soon:

    * New setting: Table IX-M97: No admin email. Do not send emails on adminbistrator actions.
If ticked, administrators can add albums, photos and comments without emails being sent.

I think that now the USER also doesn’t get any email notification about his upload been approved (if the above is enabled).
