Hi @egocefalo,
You got that right! and Thank you so much for raising the issue.
There was a bug and we just updated the plugin. Could you please try the latest version and let us know the result? Thanks.
Hi @azizulraju
I tried it and exlcude user role option works as expected now, login with an existing account doesn’t raise any warning and customer accounts log in correctly. (customer is excluded on the exclusion list)
But, I registered a new user and it appeared as verified even when I didn’t receive any verification email nor (obviously) confirmed or verified the account at all (I did
receive the WP default “your account has been created” email).
Registration default role is “customer”.
All other existing users/customers appear as unverified on the user’s list.
Anyway that’s what happened, the new user was redirected immediately to user’s dashboard without any warning or else.
I’m changin my review starts to 5 because your response to bugs is fast and I’m sure you’re gonna fix this problem.
Thank you!
Thank you so much for updating the review!
Since you’re using Exclude user role option, there’s no way to verify a new user on this particular role.
If I understood right what you’re trying to achieve then here is a solution:
Reset the value of Exclude user role option and save changes.

Select All existing users and use Bulk Actions to quickly verify them and then you can set Exclude user role option if you want to enable verification.

We understand that manually verifying existing users is not a perfect solution. Our dev team will add an option in the later release where you can easily verify existing users.

Yes, what I need is to force new users to verify a single time upon registration (meaning right after clicking on register button) before getting access to user’s dashboard (no redirection until after verification) and then never bother them again.
So, got it, thanks a lot @azizulraju
Best regards
