    Hi,

I have 2 days installed your plugin and testing it.

I can’t find anywhere any setting or any workaround to exclude the parent element of Variable Products on Skroutz XML feed (Greece).

My question is exactly the same as of @geonolis here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/skroutz-feed-greece/ dated 2 years ago.

    1) Is anywhere any setting in your plugin to exclude the parent element and include only the variable products?

    2) Else, is there any workaround to achieve this (not to edit your code of course…)?

    Hi!

I read the article and I did them all as you said.

But now I have another problem in XML: Some products are duplicates inside the XML!

For example one (Simple) product I have with ID:120 appeared 2 differnet times – exactly the same – inside the XML and Skroutz validator (https://validator.skroutz.gr/) tells me to remove duplicates…

When I’m searching in WooCommerce Admin dashboard in Products by ID or by Title, there is only one instance…

    Why is that happens?

Also, I get another error in Skroutz: “PriceVat must be greater than zero. Some non-positive values are: 0.0, 0.0, 0.0”.

I do not have any products with Zero price or Negative price in my catalogue.

Maybe Skroutz found some bad structure in the XML and tells that?

    Thank you.

Can you please share your product feed URL with us?

    (@geosb)

Due to the XML is private and I cannot share it publicly, can you give me an e-mail address to send it here?

Or, can I send you a PM? Or Can I submit it to your website somewhere?

    Thank you!

I send it to you! Please see it and tell me what you think!

One of the duplicate products is the

    <id>120</id>

    Thank you.

Thanks for sending over the feed, we were able to verify there are duplicates in your feed. This usually happens when the plugin gets stuck during processing/updating of your feed.

Can you try lowering the batch size of the plugin from the default 750 products per batch to a lower number, such as 400? This is how you can do so: https://adtribes.io/batch-size-configuration-product-feed/

    Hope this helps.

    Hi!

I did it. Then I made a manually refresh of the product feed and you can see the results on the XML.

The problem with duplicates seems to be solved, but the problem with prices “PriceVat must be greater than zero. Some non-positive values are: 0.0, 0.0, 0.0” is still active!

I have not any Zero or Negative prices in my product catalogue…

Also, one strange behavior that your plugin do, is, when I’m pressing the button “manually refresh productfeed”, the status blinks and becomes “processing (0%)” and after only 1-2 seconds becomes “ready”! This is a false statement though, because if I go to that WordPress main page (Dashboard) and then I come back again to “Manage feeds”, the status blinks and says “processing (50%)”. It takes a lot of minutes to finish the job. Do you think this is a malfunction of the plugin or it is normal behavior?

    Thank you.

Did you already opened your feed in a browser and searched for 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 in it? Do you find any of those?

    Thread Starter George

    (@geosb)

Yes, I have already opened my feed in a browser and searched for these values.

The short answer is No, I cannot find such values.

But also, in testing I’ve made with another XML plugin, Skroutz validator is not give me this error.

Therefore, I suppose that the XML schema is somewhere erroneous?

Or something is out of rules of Skroutz and thus the validator gets confused and gives this error?

If you want I can send you via e-mail the other XML file (which passes the validation) for comparison.

When those values are not in your feed and the feed passes the Skroutz validator then something else might be up. I suggest you take this up with Skroutz support team.

    (@geosb)

Ok, I am sending now a support request to Skroutz and I’ll come back when I have their answer.

Please do not close this thread yet.

    Thank you.

    Hi. I did it.

The response from Skroutz was to add also the fields MPN, Manufacturer and Weight. They told me nothing for 0.0 values, so I think there is no problem as far as this error of the validator.

    Therefore, we are almost done!

I have again the problem with the Duplicates. Please see the XML, you will see that the
    <id>5511</id>
    is duplicate.

    Why the process gets stuck?

Would be more preferable if the processing run at once for the whole catalogue (not in chunks)?

How many products do you have in your WooCommerce store? When it is not too much you could try increasing the batch size of the plugin to a number that is higher if you want to try to have it run in only one batch.

    Thread Starter George

    (@geosb)

I have 755 products right now.

I changed the batch size to 1000 but the behavior stil the same. Again I have duplicates.

With another plugin I used, the XML feed creation works fine in my shop, never gets stuck and never gives me duplicates, but the other plugin has not the use of filters free like you have in yours.

Honestly, I cannot understand what is going wrong with yours…

You have a very powerfull plugin with loads of features but you have not do a serious work in programming the feed creation with WP-Cron and thus, this is why it gets stuck every while, gives duplicates or stucks on processing (50%).

Do you believe that you can fix it so I’m able (me and other people) to continue using it?
