Exclude specific dates from calendar

    Is it possible to exclude specific dates from showing at the calendar?
    For example holidays?
    For example, If I have 10 events spanning over a period of 6 months I would like to have an option to set those dates somewhere and the calendar to show empty for these dates even if there is an event.
    Is this possible?
