# Exclude Selected Catagories

 * I have installed the plugin and it had already populated all my catagories in
   the exclude selected catagories. How do I remove these?
 * Any assistance would be much appreciated.

 * I am not sure what you mean by “How do I remove these”.
 * The “exclude selected categories” section is useful if you do not want to show
   the like/unlike buttons on some specific categories. In that case you need to
   select those categories in that section. As long as you do not select any categories
   over there, the like/unlike buttons will show up in all posts for all the categories.

 * Apologies, I’ll rephrase the question.
 * How do i take a category out of the “exclude selected categories”. All my categories
   were added this by default when I activated the plugin so none of my posts have
   this option. Does that make sense?

 * All the available post categories in the site will be listed there. But as long
   as you DO NOT SELECT any category there, this exclude functionality will not 
   be applicable to that category.
 * Example:
    – Lets say you have 3 categories A, B, C and all show up over there.–
   If you do not select any of them, then the like/unlike buttons will come up for
   the posts under all the above categories. – If you select category A from the
   list, then the like/unlike buttons will not come up for the posts under category
   A.
 * The point is you have to SELECT a category in that list to have this exclude 
   functionality in action.

 * I just found this post, because i have the same issue.
 * The like/dislike buttons didn’t show on any of my posts per default. I added 
   the post-ids to the “Allow post ID” to let them show.
 * If i can make a suggestion.
    Instead of having to ‘Select’ the categories. Create
   a swap box. One for the allowed categories, and one for the disabled categories,
   and then two arrows in the middle, for swapping categories back and forth.
 * It is only for ease of usability of course.
