# Exclude post from main page.

 * How do I exclude a post from the main page. For example, I want to add an article
   to my site, but do not want it to feature on the front of the site but in the
   archives, is there a way to do this.

 * Only if you exclude certain categories to be displayed on the mian page. There
   are plugins to do that.

 * There is a “slip” plugin that will let it slide from the front of the site.. 
   I tried it, but I found some problems when I used it.. some other posts jsut 
   disappeared. The other way I was able to get that to work was Use Adhesive to
   create sticky posts.. have those stickied on the front of the site and everything
   else went behind it. Or, you could also alter the date of your posts so its an
   older post that what you have on your front page..
