Hi there,
Yes. If you’re using the latest version of the plugin:
# Widget: change Post type to post
and save.
# [WPP] shortcode / wpp_get_mostpopular() template tag: use the parameter post_type
and set it to post
(eg. wpp_get_mostpopular('post_type=post')
).
Sorry, I didn’t ask the right question.
I meant exclude certain pages. There are some pages which I don’t want included.
And if it’s not a default feature, is there some changes I can make?
Ah, that’s a different story. No, unfortunately there’s no way to achieve that as the plugin doesn’t offer this functionality. Other people have asked this in the past days, so I might just include it in the next release.
i notcied this was 5 months ago and you mentioned you’d add this. did you ever get around to allowing us to exclude certain pages?
Actually, yes: since WPP v2.3.3, you can exclude both posts and pages by ID. For that, use the field “Post(s) ID(s) to exclude” (widget only); or via the pid
parameter if you’re using either the wpp
shortcode or the wpp_get_mostpopular()
template tag.
