 * Hi Frank,
 * Since the last update the “exclude inline script” function does not work as before.
 * On 2.7.3 (and previous versions) I have been always using a “unique string in
   that block of code and add that to the exclusion list” per your instructions
   in the FAQ page.
 * The new version does not seem to whitelist the script anymore and the analytics(
   clicky) are completely missing from the final pages.
 * The other scripts exclusion, based on absolute path, seem to work fine.
 * I rolled back to 2.7.3 and everything went back to normal, no options changed.
 * Anything I can do?
 * Thanks in advance.
 * Regards

 * nice username 55if0lyxmsca36ze83pm 😀
 * the changes in JS optimization were very light between 2.7.3 and 2.7.5, so something
   else is likely happening.
 * could that something else be the fact that you’re using “critical CSS” and that
   you have the advanced option “defer jQuery” active? because that indeed did change
   and would lead to the excluded inline JS not being (easily) visible (it’s base64-
   encoded)?

 * Thank you Frank, I just registered a new profile!
 * Yes, you are 100% right.
    I am using CriticalCSS and I have the “defer JQuery”
   option enabled.
 * Any advice?

 * well, even if the code is not _visible_, it is still there and _should_ execute.
   or are things *really* broken?
