 * Hi there
 * I have read that this will backup all folders in the root. Is there a way to
   exclude folders in the root of a site?
 * For instance we will have the old site still on the server so that the admin
   can still access archived content/site. I would lke the backup to run, but not
   backup the old site on the root in it’s own sub folder.
 * Is this possible?
 * I like the idea of the backup to dropbox.

 * I’m also looking for a solution for this.
    I have a subdomain that I don’t want
   backed up, so it would be good to be able to select/deselect certain folders/
   files.

 * Found the solution…
    Go to Tools->Manage Backups->Complete Monthly and you’ll
   see **Settings** | **Excludes** | **Run now** | **Delete** Click the **Excludes**
   and it will load up the files/folders in the root of where your site is (may
   take a bit of time depending on how big your root folder is) and you’ll see further
   down the following e.g. **Excluded**(3523) **Included**(5670) **Unreadable**(
   1). Select the **Included** folder and see what files/folders are there and create
   New Exclude[s] Rule at the top.
 * I had a subdomain called **_portfolio_**, so I added the rule **_portfolio/_**
   which included everything in that folder.
 * Hope this helps.
