Hi and thank you for such a great plugin. I am having a problem when I try to select the following option check all NON-WordPress tables, the tables are not selected.

What is happening is this, when ever I click on check all NON-WordPress tables; any of the following options if not selected will be selected see list below:
    Delete all trashed items
    Delete all spammed items
    Keep a log

But none of the tables are selected!!!

I am using the latest version of WordPress and the latest version of your plugin. I am also running Suffusion theme if that helps you in any way.

    Thank you for your time.

    Kind regards

    Hey mbrsolution,

Just released version 2.2.9 of the plugin which fixes the bug!

    Thanks,

Hello Rolf, thank you very much. That released version fixed the problem mentioned above.

There seems to be another issue now. When I click on check all NON-WordPress tables, no database tables are selected. I can see many tables that don’t belong to WordPress.

Would you like me to create a new thread?

    Thank you for your help

    Kind regards

    Hey mbrsolution,

If you click check all NON-WordPress tables it does what it says: it checks all the tables that are not part of the WordPress site. To be more precise: tables that don’t have the WordPress prefix (which are listed in bold blue in the table).
It leaves the WordPress tables alone: if they are checked they will stay checked, if not, not.

Not sure if that answers your question 😉
If not, explain further what you mean.

    Hello Rolf,

Thank you for your prompt reply. In regards to your comment:

If you click check all NON-WordPress tables it does what it says: it checks all the tables that are not part of the WordPress site.

The problem in my situation is that it does not check any tables. No WordPress or none WordPress tables.

    Hey mbrsolution,

    Weird…

Which browser are you using on which platform (windows/mac/unix)?
(I tested in with Firefox, Chrome and IE and it all works fine)

    Are there any javascript errors?

‘check all tables’ and ‘uncheck all tables’ do work?

Hi Rolf, yes I agree with you that it is very strange however I have done more testing on different browsers ie FireFox and IE and no go. My operating system is Windows 7.

    Kind regards

Hello Rolf, just wanted to know if you have come up with any suggestion to my problem.

    Hey mbrsolution,

What’s difficult is I cannot reproduce the problem…

Works on all platforms / browsers I tried.

I also didn’t get any other reports on this problem so it must be a local browser and / or operation system problem.

That specific part of the plugin uses jQuery which is basically cross-browser, so should work on all platforms / browsers.

You didn’t answer some of my questions:
Are there any javascript errors showing up?
‘Check all tables’ and ‘uncheck all tables’ do work?

    Peace,
    Rolf

Hello Rolf sorry for not answering that question. The answer is no, there are no javascript errors.

I have the latest browsers running of IE, FF, Chrome and Seamonkey

Hello Rolf, I forgot to mentioned that I am also testing with WordPress 3.6 beta 1.

Although it is not working with WordPress 3.5.1, I will try and carry out more thorough testing and will let you know.

    Kind regards

Hello cageehv, have you tested to see if it does detect check all NON-WordPress tables when you have a prefix added to the table?

I am still having problems detecting Non wordpress tables. Maybe my suggestion above might help you.

    Kind regards

    Hey mbrsolution,

Hello cageehv, have you tested to see if it does detect check all NON-WordPress tables when you have a prefix added to the table?

All my WordPress tables have a prefix like:
    cwwp_term_taxonomy
    cwwp_posts

(Or did I misunderstand what you were saying?)

It works well for me in any browser with any version of WP…

I also didn’t get any other bug reports about this issue (except for yours).

So I have still no idea what causes your problem…

    Rolf
