    I just updated the plug in today to the latest version and it has all the
   new options. I have a custom post type called portfolios and i have various categories
   and posts under it. How can i block portfolios from appearing in the search results?

 * thanks for reaching out!
    You can do this by unticking the box next to the “Search
   every custom field” in your “Search Everything Basic Configuration” setting.
