Will the “Exclude Current Post” work on a category archive page? It doesn’t look like it does.

For example: http://mydomain.com/category/news/

Sorry maybe this is just a confusing question. We have an odd use case that most people won’t have. Maybe i’ll just use CSS to hide the first post.

About your second issue with the odd use.
We support a option “Start offset” in the Filter panel: http://tiptoppress.com/category-posts-widget/documentation-4-7/#Filter

Please type “2” as Start offset parameter and the post filter query will start with the second post.

About your fist issue. How do you create your archive pages?
Do you use a widget? If yes, can you write which widget do you use?

The option excuse current post can only have impact on single pist pages.

Pages with more posts don’t have a “current” post.
