 * I would like to know if it is possible to exclude the current post from the list
   of recent posts in the author’s box.

 * Thank you for writing in.
 * You should be able to use the Selective Posts option to select the posts you 
   want to show.
 * Currently the plugin does not have a Latest post with exclude post option (is
   it what you were looking for?)
