Exclude content and tags from indexing

    Hi!!

    I have a lot of products and plugin takes a long time to indexing all of them because the big amount of tags and content.

    Is there any way to not index content and tags? My database is full because the aws_index table is very big.

    Any solution to only index title, sku and categories from products?

    Hi,

    Yes, it is possible. You can make some changes in plugins code in order to index only title, sku and categories.

    One problem is only that if you update this plugin all changes that you add will be lost.

    So you need to open advanced-woo-search/includes/class-aws-table.php, find lines

    $data['terms']['content']  = $this->extract_terms( $content );
$data['terms']['excerpt']  = $this->extract_terms( $excerpt );
$data['terms']['tag']      = $this->extract_terms( $tag_names );

    and remove them
