Exclude certain tags from related posts

    Dear sir/madam,

    On my website I am trying to use tags so show related posts. For every posts I would like to exclude the same tags though, because I use those tags for a different purpose. Is there a way to always exclude certain tags from the related posts area?

    Hi, I’m not completely clear on what you’re doing? Are you looking for a way to exclude posts in certain tags?

    Sorry that it wasn’t very clear.
    At the bottom of every post I am showing the related posts linked to that post. The plugin uses the tags that I’ve attached to every post to find the posts that are most related to my original post.
    What I would like is that the plugin uses certain tags ‘A, B, C & D’, but doesn’t use other tags ‘E, F & G’. Is there any way to make sure that the plugin only uses the tags A-D, but doesn’t use the tags E-G?

    @rubentucker Sorry for the delay. I thought I had responded but realise now I hadn’t.

    The plugin doesn’t use tags by default – are you using the addon plugin for this?

    The limitation right now is that you can’t pick and choose the tags but takes all of the tags (you can set min number of common tags).
