# Exclude certain tags?

 * Hi,
 * I’m trying to list my tags in a sidebar rather than under the article. Some tags
   that are used are for display purposes, i.e using reel to display the article
   on the front end.
 * I would like it to be like:
 *     ```
       In This Article
       Tag 1
       Tag 2
       Tag 3
       ```
   
 * and so on.
 * Is there a way to exclude tags like reel?

   might allow to show the post’s tags and to exclude certain tags?

 * Thanks for the reply, most do not have an option to exclude tags from what I 
   can see. I have the code to display the tags how I want, I just need to know 
   how to exclude certain ones.

   to work for me.
