Exclude Categories from Feed via URL?

    I’m trying to remove certain categoies from my main RSS feed using the following URL:

    http://christiaanconover.com/feed?cat=-633&cat=-634

    But it’s not working, the categoies still appear. Is this no longer a supported method?

    I don’t want to exclude these categories from all feeds since I still want the category feeds for those categories, I just want to exclude them from the main feed through FeedBurner.
