Hi, we are getting the warning of “Avoid an excessive DOM size 979 elements” using your plugin only with 20 images size 320×140.. is there anything you can do to decrease this size as its affects the speed and ranking… Thank you!

Hi,

I’m not really sure how you get all the 979 DOM elements in a 20 images slide. A basic MetaSlider only contains 3 elements per slide.

- list
  – anchor
  – and the image itself
  I tried to check this issue from my test server and added a 40 slide containing different types of slides into the slideshow and I only get 280 DOM elements inside the whole slider element.
  
  Can you try disabling all your plugins and switch temporarily to a Twenty-Twenty One theme and see if you would still get the 979 elements?
