It increased our server load by a factor of 3. It didn’t always do this, it just started in the past 2-3 days or so. Can you review the database interaction here and release a fix? * Otherwise can you tell me how to prevent this from happening again? I’d like to keep this tool live for our users, but not if it’s going to put this level of stress on the database. We have a high traffic site, with about 20-30k users per day on it, and over a dozen posts going up most days. Can you check your phpMyAdmin to see what the size of the wp_top_ten_daily table is? * Also, Top 10 has an option of caching in this version. Could you please turn on the cache for a day or so and monitor the load? I’m not sure if that’s large or not. What do you think? Our site speed was basically crippled with it enabled, and we couldn’t handle more than 70 or so users at a time. Are you in a position to run a couple of tests?
