# excerpts problem

 * I am having problem with my excerpts. wordpress strips the code out, so i cant
   display any images. I was looking for a work around so that i could put a image
   that would be followed by formatted text (ul)
 * so i want to excerpt to look like:
 * [picture]
    random random randoom random random random random random
 * so how do i get html code back into my excerpts?

 * Use the “optionnal excerpt” when you write post… The field is located just below
   the the one you use to write post.
 * This field will accept img and html tags to be displayed with “the_excerpt”.
 * The auto generated excerpt from the post field itself will strip any formatting.
