# Excerpts problem

 * I cannot prevent the display of excerpts on pages. I have set the excerpts to“
   off” in the Options in the Dashboard.

 * Dear [@freddobo](https://wordpress.org/support/users/freddobo/) hello.
    I don’t
   think there is an option of preventing the excerpts so I have to send you some
   code in order to stop showing them at the top of the pages. Are you ok with that?
   In the next days I will add an option in the customizer.
