Excerpts not working

Hi,

Just chanced upon Postie after trying out another plugin – that one needed v 3.7 – which I understand is not tested for compatibility for Postie as yet.

Postie works great!

Everything works fine for my curation blog except one key feature I need –

:excerptstart
:excerptend

Anything in between just gets truncated.

Without success, tried both settings for post type : plain & html.

Went through all 18 pages of Support but no solution.

Is it due to WP 3.7.2? Or am I missing something?
