Excerpts no longer showing images with captions

    Hello and thanks for your great ‘advanced excerpt’ plugin which I have been using happily for several years to create nice excerpts that preserve my sentences and my images.

    Recently I have noticed that some images are no longer preserved in the excerpt. A bit of sleuthing suggests it is images with a caption that get lost. I note that images with captions use a /caption/ tag instead of an /img/ tag.

    I wonder if your recent update might have somehow affected this? I’m afraid I don’t know how to get the old version back to test it, but it seems like a likely reason.

    You’re welcome. Will be looking into that on Monday, hopefully I can manage to figure out a solution and the update will be released Monday.
