The theme is overriding my decision in settings to have the homepage show post excerpts instead of full posts. Is there a CSS code I could use to make this happen?

Hi,

The setting you’re talking about is for whether the excerpt should be displayed in place of the full content in the RSS feed, not in the blog. You can find more information here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Excerpt
